By Angela C. Centeno The Association of Philippine Orthodontists held its 3rd General meeting and Scientific Seminar last June 1, 2011 at Palm Groove, Rockwell Club Makati City. The program started with the invocation led by Dr. Chrysoine Marquez. The Welcome Remarks was given by the APO President, Dr. Roberto Tan. He presented the different activities of APO both locally and internationally wherein the most recent one was at the American Association of Orthodontists Annual Convention in Chicago. By Dr. Maria Emilyn Bautista de Marcaida The 5th APO General meeting 2008-2009 held at Palm Grove, Rockwell Club, Makati last Aug 5 2009 was particularly memorable because aside from the socially relevant topics discussed, this day marked the occasion of the interment of our dear Mother of Democracy Corazon Aquino. With that in mind, Dr. Rossana Sanchez led the invocation with special intention for our beloved ex-President at about 8:40 am. This was followed by the National Anthem. October 12, 2006 For the fiscal years 2006-2008, the APO held its 1st general meeting at the Rockwell Club last Oct. 12, 2006. Dr. Kathy Ong, APO President, welcomed all the 64 attendees.
