The World Federation of Orthodontists, like the United Nations, is comprised of the nationally recognized orthodontic specialty societies and associations from 109 nations of which the Association of Philippine Orthodontists (APO) has been a Charter Member since 1995.
The WFO has also recognized 15 orthodontic certifying boards around the world, including the Philippine Board of Orthodontics which has been recognized and accredited by the PRC Board of Dentistry since 1989 and the Association of Philippine Orthodontists.
Graduate Student Members of the APO enrolled in the PBO Accredited Graduate Programs qualify to become members of the WFO recognized, World Federation of Postgraduate Orthodontic Students, for free and should send an email to wfpos.wfo@gmail.com:
