Third Gen. Meeting 2008-09

APO’s 3rd General Meeting was held at the usual place – Palm Grove, Rockwell Club, Makati but what was unusual was the back to back Ortho-Pedo lectures given by Dr. Georgia Remulla and our very own Dr. Rosabelle de Veyra-Pike.

Dr. Remulla’s lecture was entitled “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow: Helping our patient’s ‘keep’ their teeth before, during and after fixed orthodontic treatment”. She talked about the latest preventive measures to help our patients in various stages of therapy.

Dr. Pike presented five of her own pediatric cases to illustrate the diversity by which the course of ortho treatment may proceed. Particular focus was given to behavior managements techniques which contributed to patient satisfaction and success of treatment.

After the lectures, the members were invited to view the Table Clinic Presentations of Drs. Crysoine Marquez and Rosanna Sanchez. The cases presented were those used for their PBO Phase III Examination.

Kudos to a well organized meeting which had 55 APO members in attendance.
