General Meetings

It was a pro-active meeting in the sense that the topic during the gathering was on - “Case Discussion and Mentoring.”

Climaco-Bejasa APO General Meeting Fiscal Year 2013-2014 June 5, 2013 Wednesday Solaire Grand Ballroom 4 A very early Wednesday morning found us orthodontists at the Solaire Grand Ballroom 4.  Much as it was a temptation to try our luck and enrich our pockets, we were there to enrich our minds and refresh our knowledge of other disciplines, such as Orthognathic Surgery and Periodontal Considerations in relation to Orthodontics.  This was organized by the Manila 2 Cell Group with Dr. Glenn Gonzales as Master of Ceremonies who is incidentally also the Cell Group Leader.

By Joanne Marañon The exclusive Anvaya Cove Beach and Nature Club, Morong, Bataan was the chosen venue for the 2nd APO General meeting held last April 6, 2011. A lot of APO members brought their families and stayed overnight to take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy the land and water activities that the place has to offer, all geared towards relaxation, recreation and reflection. Some members even went shopping at the nearby Subic Duty Free Port shops.

By Dr. Karen Piamonte-Miranda Last April 7, 2010 was APO’s 8th general meeting held at the Rockwell Club in Makati. The venue was packed that day with a total of 74 members in attendance. After the usual registration, breakfast and fellowship, Dr. Jose Rivera shared some of their experiences in their recent trip to Australia when they attended the WFO last February. Dr. Emerlinda Galang also gave an update regarding PBO matters while Dr. Roberto Tan gave an update regarding the upcoming 7th APO Biennial National Orthodontic Congress.
