General Meetings

By Dr. Stevie Keh Just like our biennial congress last August, it was again a rainy Wednesday morning when APO held its 11th General Meeting at The Rockwell Club in Makati City last Oct. 3. Fortunately this time, no 'habagat' nor massive floods hindered the members from trooping to our usual venue to listen to this seminar's very interesting topics with the theme “Different Treatment Options for TMD Patients”.

June 6, 2007 The 5th General Mtg was held Wednesday, June 6 at the Rockwell Club Function Rooms in Makati City. The speakers included: Roberto M. Pangan DMD, MD, PhD who spoke on Distraction Osteogenesis; and Gela Castro-Centeno DMD MSD who presented her PBO Phase IV Case Presentations.

By Dr. Daryl Joy Dayrit (PPDSI) & Dr. Timothy Eustaquio (1st year, UP Graduate Ortho) The Association of Philippine Orthodontists (APO) and Noordhoff Craniofacial Foundation (NCF) Philippines, Inc. in partnership with GlaxoSmithKline and Smile Train celebrated the Chinese New Year with the hosting of the 1st NAM: Lecture and Workshop at the GSK Nathan Hall, Pasong Tamo Extension last February 10, 2013.

March 28, 2007 At the Palm Grove of Rockwell Club last March 28, the Association of Philippine Orthodontists held its 4th General Meeting and presented the topic "Diagnosis and Treatment Planning of Mini-Implant Orthodontics" with Dr. Kuniaki Miyajima as the speaker. Dr. Miyajima conducts mini-implants hands-on courses in Japan. He is a visiting instructor in different universities in Korea, Indonesia and China. He is also a clinical instructor in St. Louis University of Missouri.
