Beautiful Butuan… A Good Place to Start

What a wonderful way to be introduced to Mindanao than to visit the quiet and peaceful city of Butuan, the host of the PDA Annual Mindanao Convention.  Officers of the Mindanao dental chapters left no stone unturned to make sure that these annual meetings will be a permanent fixture in the PDA calendar. And Host an awesome event they did. Dr. Martin’s lecture entitled Facing the New Challenges in Orthodontics was a timely one to kick off the 3 day convention. Notable speakers of the PDA Speakers Bureau were in attendance to give their most recent and updated lectures. Dr. Arnold Duterte, Dr. Marie Joy Lazaro and Dr. Grace Kwan attended the APO’s pride Mindanao Convention and together with Dr. Martin Reyes, promoted the APOC 2018 in Boracay. Dr. Duterte served a table for the promotions and to increase awareness on APOC 2018 in Boracay. Scientific sessions during the day were followed by festive dinners and parties showing that the PDA members from the Mindanao know indeed know how to host a World Class type of Convention.
