By Josievitz Tan-Zafra The Philippine Dental Association (PDA) recently celebrated its 9th National Dental Health Month (NDHM) last Jan. 15 to Feb 27, 2013 with the theme “Ngipin Pangalagaan Sakit Maiiwasan, Bansa’y Matutulungan Tungo sa Kaunlaran”. As a traditional part of this celebration, the Alay Parada 2013 was held last February 3 at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City.

By Dr. Teresa Goduco Last November 26, 2012, the APO celebrated Christmas with the Holy Family Home Foundation, in lieu of our annual Christmas party. The Holy Family Home Foundation (HFH) is a non-profit organization run by the Capuchin Tertiary Sisters.

(NCFPI)By Dr. Laarni Serraon For the past two years, APO has been celebrating Christmas with selected charitable institutions like Hospicio de San Jose in 2008 and Center for Battered Children in Tagaytay in 2009. This year, we joined the NCFPI (Noordhoff Craniofacial Foundation Philippines Inc.) spearheaded by President Dr. Glenda De Villa in celebrating this Yuletide season with their “Christmas Thanksgiving Party”. It was held last December 6, 2010 at Our Lady of Peace hospital in Paranaque City.

About sixty-five APO members and families in tow comprised this year’s APO delegation with the youngest participants in strollers, the babies of Dr Monica Sison Quiambao and Dr Irene Palma.
