Personal data
Your personal data is information about you that is used explicitly to determine your identity. It includes information such as your name and your postal or e-mail address. The only time we save personal data (if any), in addition to your access data, is if you give us this information voluntarily. For example, as part of a registration, a survey, a prize competition, a contact inquiry, registration for a newsletter or to process an online order.
We encrypt procedures in secure areas to ensure that communication between your browser and our order system, for example, cannot be read by others on the internet. All data is stored exclusively on our servers and accorded a level of protection that is adequate and at least equivalent to that under the DPA.
Your use of our order system shall constitute and be evidence of your consent to our processing, use and storage of your personal data.
Sensitive Personal data
It is unlikely that we will collect any sensitive personal data about you, e.g. your race, religion or political beliefs. If, however, any sensitive personal data is required, we will collect, use and store such data in accordance with the DPA.
Passing on Personal Data to Third Parties
We render some of our services together with external parties. These external parties are also subject to the DPA and are integrated into our data protection concept.
We only pass on personal data:
– when processing order-related data, such as for online orders; and
– in cases where you have given your prior consent.
In addition, we may be required by law to convey your personal data (if any) to governmental or state institutions or authorities.
Rights Relating to Personal Data
We will amend, cease from using or delete your personal data within reasonable time of our receipt of your written request to do so. In addition, if you are registered as a user, you have the opportunity to view, delete or change such data yourself as necessary.
