5th General Meeting and Scientific Seminar with the theme “Orthodontic Forum: Let’s Hear from the Millennials”

On October 4, 2023, a total of 90 participants attended the half day seminar via zoom platform. The seminar showcased the comprehensive treatment approach of different array of malocclusions that the orthodontists usually encountered in their private practice. The 4 speakers provided alternative orthodontic mechanotherapy as well as scientific evidence on dealing with patients with severe and compromised malocclusions. The speakers also presented different tips and tricks in counteracting different side effects brought about by such orthodontic mechanics.

The attendees were also able to learn new innovations used in the field of orthodontics. Several clinical cases ranging from periodontically compromised to facial asymmetry, and cases that would entail the use of TADs or interceptive orthodontics were presented to the attendees to showcase the different treatment protocol and step by step treatment mechanics in managing these cases.
