3rd PDA Luzon Convention

The 3rd PDA Luzon Convention was successfully held at the Philippine International Convention Center on January 17-19, 2017. Dr. Rosa Maria Gener-Estibaya, one of our Associate Members, was invited to do a table clinic on wire bending.

Her presentation entitled “Understanding the En Masse Retraction Assembly” included cases indicated for its use and the conditions required before its installation. Actual wire bending followed, showing all the required wire and pliers. Design principles were thoroughly dicsussed for each part of the assembly, as well as modifications in the application and its rationale. The lecture was well-received by the participants, as the event itself was very organized, and the presentation was aided by a live video feed and a clear sound system.
