The Association of Philippine Orthodontists held its 3rd General Meeting and Scientific Seminar and Christmas party on November 13, 2024 at Palm Grove, Rockwell Club, Makati City with the theme “Safety and Health at Work: Preventing Occupational Health Hazards in Dentistry”.
Rehabilitation Medicine Doctor, Dr. Eric Sherwin Basuil engaged the attendees with his interesting topic on preventing and managing musculoskeletal disorders affecting the neck, shoulders, back, hands and wrists due to repetitive movements, awkward postures and prolonged static positions. Cardiologist Dr. Roella Arellano on the other hand delivered an engaging lecture on the most common cardiovascular diseases and their prevention thru healthy lifestyle that includes healthy diet, regular physical activity and managing stress.
The event was well attended by 58 APO members who gained valuable information on health and enjoyed the good food and camaraderie.
